A song we used to sing with our French Medieval and Renaissance music choir in high school. So grateful to all the wonderful teachers who introduced us to language and culture and gave us ample time to read, create theatre and have fun (in Holland there are no fancy private schools and no ‘top’ universities, just a great education system accessible to everybody).
