Princeton School of Public and International Affairs

Princeton University
's Board of Trustees has voted to remove Woodrow Wilson’s name from the School of Public Policy and International Affairs and residential college. The trustees have concluded that Wilson’s racist thinking and policies make him an inappropriate namesake for a school or college whose scholars and alumni must stand firmly against racism in all its forms. The public policy school will now be known as
Princeton School of Public and International Affairs
and the residential college will be known as "First College." These are not the only steps our University is taking to combat the realities and legacy of racism, but they are important ones.
